You may have a fuel pump Bad!

Here's what happened one of my clients a little 'back:

Star bought a van pick-up with a sticker, "as is"

Fuel Pump

The next day went to town and died, so she moved away from the road, called the wrecker to tow it to my shop.

When I turned to start the ignition, started the engine and sang as smooth as the Blue Bell cow.

He wanted to know from me what was wrong ... I told her I had no idea how things were going well now.

This happened aboutevery two or three days each time the destroyer sank off, Crank it up and running, and wondered: "What's wrong You're a mechanic?".

I told her to call me next time instead of the parasite. The only way to be able to find the problem was, had to be there when it happened.

Sure enough, two days later I received a phone call was: "Come to crank my truck!"

When I got there I checked to make sure the fire arrived at the dealer.

Then I checked to make sureobtained fuel ... without fuel.

The fuel gauge showed half full.

I removed the fuel filter, there was no fuel in it.

I had to crank the engine a few times and then flowed through the fuel line.

I connected the line to the filter and the crank ... had again flowed through the fuel filter.

I noticed the filter was recently ... The fuel lines were new.

Apparently, the previous owner had had thesame problem.

On a hunch, I decided to replace the fuel pump.

Sometimes a fuel pump will pump just stop, then after it sits a little 'will be back to work ...
I'm with "people" how it works. :-)

It must have been a problem because they never died, until it reaches the engine is off.
